I have to be honest I am more of a night owl, but when I was visiting Newquay, Devon with my mum and dad I did grab my camera and head off to the beach at around 7:00 a.m. There were only two other people who had the same idea, which was nice, as it was usually hopping by the time the sun came up.
The message in the sand says “Amber Loves Grandpa”, which must have been written later the night before. It was nice to capture it, as it was only going to exist for a little while longer, soon to be erased by hundreds of footprints. I hope her Grandpa saw it.
